PPG macro was founded by Patrick Perret-Green in 2020.

Patrick has over 35 years of global markets experience. For the first 20 years of his career he was an interest rate trader in developed markets. In 2010 he moved to Asia as Head of Asia Rates and FX strategy for Citi in Singapore.

Part of the attraction of moving to Asia was China's increasing role in the global economy and its currency 'liberation' with the creation of CNH in 2010.

Since then he has become a well known expert on China and the region adding to his overall knoledge of Global macro forces.

As a former trader the startegy product is, ultimately, focused on deriving the most effective trades and investments from the global macro view.

With an established track record, Patrick advises some of the world's largest hedge funds and asset managers.
